There are many purposes for the Trust. Some of these are:
reviving the cultural values, beliefs and practises of Papawai whānau and hapū
(even helping to lift health and educational achievements),
incorporating the kotahitanga spirit,
preserving the pā for future generations,
promoting employment through planned business enterprise developments,
fostering positive relationships to further future developments,
plus more!
The Trust Deed specifies the purpose and functions of the Trust and its governance rules.

Our trustees
Trustees are whānau representatives who have been voted in. They are all volunteers and do this mahi for our whānau, hapū and to uphold the mana of our marae.
